Healing ~ Music ~ Art ~ Compassion

A Little About Me

I'm Emily Stone Harris -- a singer-songrwriter, pianist, artist, healer, animal lover, and someone who has always felt deeply called to help others.

To me, healing can take many forms--through touch, frequency, music, compassion, or simply being present for someone who needs support.  Throughout my life, I have felt called to help others find greater comfort, hope, balance, and connection.

Music has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began playing the piano when I was three years old, learning mostly by ear on my Grandmother's piano. I started writing songs in seventh grade, and over the years, music became the place where I could express feelings, memories, grief, hope, and everything that words alone could not always hold.

That same sensitivty has shaped the rest of my life.  I have loved and rescued animals since childhood beginning with my first cat, Jo Jo.

Compassion has never been a campaign for me.  It has always been part of who I am.

Where Music and Art Meet

About a year ago, I began creating original artwork as another way to express the emotions, messages, and stories closest to my heart.

Like my music and healing work, my artwork is inspired by love, faith, animals, remembrance, resilience, and the unseen connections that remind us we are never alone.

After several people asked whether they could purchase my designs, I decided to open this store. This is my first collection, and I'll continue adding new pieces as inspiration unfolds. Every piece begins with a feeling, a story, or a life that deserves to be remembered.

One Little Donkey Awakened Thousands of Voices

When I learned what happened to HeeHaw -- a gentle, bottle-raised miniature donkey, killed in his own pasture -- I felt an immediate call to action.

I began creating artwork, videos, posts, and an original song to keep his name and story alive. What began as a tribute grew into something much larger: a peaceful movement calling for truth, transparency, accountability, better training, and safer procedures when law enforcement encounter animals.

HeeHaw's life mattered. His tory matters. My hope is that his legacy will help protect another beloved animal someday.

Creating With a Greater Purpose

Long before opening this store, helping animals and people in need was already an important part of my life. As a single mother, I operated a cat rescue from my home for seven years.  Even with very little money at the time, I was able to rescue and find homes for over 100 cats over the course of seven years.

For more than 25 years, I have continued using my own resources to help wherever I could.  After people began asking whether they could purchase my artwork, I realized this store could become another way to continue and expand that work.

How Your Purchase Supports The Work.

This is an independently operated art and advocacy store. After Fourthwall deducts its production and fulfillment costs, the income I receive helps support the time, tools, services, and assistance involved in creating original artwork, maintaining this store and my website, producing videos and educational content, managing the Justice for HeeHaw community, promoting important fundraisers, and helping these stories reach a wider audience.

It also helps me continue the outreach that has been part of my life for more than 25 years—including assisting with animal emergencies, rescue efforts, veterinary care, and people experiencing hardship.

To be completely transparent, purchases from this store are not direct donations to Hannah or her GoFundMe. Anyone who would like their contribution to go directly to Hannah should donate through her official fundraiser, which I continue to share and promote.

A purchase from this store supports my independent artwork, advocacy, and ongoing outreach while also helping carry HeeHaw’s message into the world. Donating directly, purchasing artwork, sharing the fundraiser, or simply helping keep his story visible are all meaningful ways to support the cause.

I also want to be an active part of the movement toward HeeHaw’s Law—helping advocate for better training, greater accountability, and safer procedures when law-enforcement officers encounter animals, so another family may be spared this kind of devastating loss.

This store brings together so many parts of who I am: healing, music, art, animals, faith, compassion, and a lifelong desire to make a meaningful difference.
